Public transport at the heart of the community
A key area of the Waverley plan, slated for the early phases of development, the transport interchange occupies a prominent site bounded by Highfield Commercial to the west, residential communities to the north and south, and Highwall Park to the east.
Community integration
The transport interchange facility is designed to be integral to and not separated from the community and housing areas. Homes around the large car park have been deliberately designed to face towards the parking areas and public transport interchange as a way of improving public safety through passive observation by residents. The area will also be well lit using lights designed to maximise safety while minimising light pollution.The whole area is attractively landscaped and well planted with trees and shrubbery.
